Shannon is an AI trainer and consultant based in the UK, specialising in human-centred AI training, governance, and adoption for UK businesses. She holds an ISO 42001 Lead Implementer qualification, the international standard for AI management systems, and has 16 years of experience in marketing and business consultancy, including training teams within FTSE 250 corporate businesses. She is tool agnostic, working with whatever AI platforms her clients use, and is a Perplexity Business Fellow for 2025.

The fortysix ai Story

Before focusing on AI just over two years ago, I was a marketing consultant working with large corporate businesses. When I started doing my AI qualifications, I realised that the businesses I was working with could totally transform the way they operate.

I wanted people to get the chance to augment their jobs and industries with AI, making them more efficient, getting better outcomes, being happier in their jobs, and securing their own business future too. That is why I started fortysix ai.

My approach is built around being approachable and engaging. I want to make learning fun, not just another boring PowerPoint presentation. We learn together, and you take practical, usable skills away with you. I am tool agnostic because I believe businesses need to pick what is appropriate for them, their ecosystem, and their overall business objectives through time, not just the features of the now.

Outside of work, I have two kids and a family. I play netball, I exercise, I love going on holiday, and I just enjoy talking to humans, even though my chosen route is talking to robots.
